Selling Popcorn and spending time with the Grands

Today Randy and Rylan sold boy scout popcorn at wal-mart..Andrew and I went to Goodwill and the new Joanns fabric store that opened about a month ago ..everytime we had planned to go to Joanns my dad ended up at the ER via us :-) ... Andrew aalso got his haircut at wal-mart it was a little short and he was concerned about how to wash hair that short I convinced him just do it like normal you can see how short it is in the picture of Myself, Rylan my Dad and Andrew above ... We then went to visit my dad for a while then off to Grandma Jessies to get our drinking water for the week ...it was a very pleasant day ..ohhh we also got to go to the dollar store one of out favorite places to shop I got a start on some Christmas stuff and Rylan got a knight in shining armor costume, the breast plate can be seen in the picture above of us with my Dad.. It was a nice day Love spending time with the family speaking of which we will be getting to see My Aunts on the 23 for a week and also will be seeing Nick Margo and the kids on the 18th ..I am so glad I found my little camera It had been lost for about 2 months over the summer and I found it on my dresser ... I bought Rylan a beautiful wollf blanket for Christmas at wal-mart for $16.97 I just know he is going to love it.. Tomarrow Mindi get to pick up my Grandma Gladys car yay she will be so happy to have a car again its been since the end of May since she has had one ..I will like being able to send her off to the store or into town to pick up a to~go dinner ... I have been feeling much better these days I hope it continues I need to make a appointment to get a epidural shot in my back and see if that works to get my back pain controlled better my shoulders have been doing pretty well so time will tell..

The saturn

well since I am trying to get better about blogging I have got to post about something :-) Randy is out working on the speedometer for our new to us saturn 4 door car we bought for $900.00 a few weeks ago .. I winnowed some of my sunflowers seeds and cut the rest of the heads to dry out on the picnic table ...Looking forward to lots and lots lots of sunflowers next year, I have a lot of seeds. Seeds are getting so expensive ughh so this will save us a few bucks ..I am also planning on drying some of my corn I grew this year for planting next year, its organic heirloom corn ..I am trying to be as organic as possible and learning along the way ..My redworms are doing really well, I dug through the bin the other day and found lots and lots of little worm eggs yay for worm love :-) maybe I will get back on here in a bit and post some pictures..I also need to tell the story of my Dads health this past month its been horrific started with a shot of methodextrate I spell that right later ..anyways he is doing better but it was really touch and go for him and he has had six bags of blood plus a few of plasma in the past month ..my poor daddy my heart was so sad to see him soooo sick :-(

Cititation from school and the bus "YIKES"

Rylan got his first bus citation today :-/ just happened to be the first day I volunteered in his class so I got to hear the whole lecture to the whole bus of kids not all of them got citations but Rylan and the two neighbor boys that he plays with daily got one.. yikes ....As I was walking out to the car Rylan said that they have assigned seats and he sits right next to the neighbor boys... so we turned around and went right back into the school and I told them I wanted his seat assignment switched cause these kids are like brothers and I can totally see them getting in trouble LOL not bad stuff just horsing around stuff ...jeeze I am out to the yard telling them to settle down every 10 minutes when they are playing so someone don't get hurt ...I also made him go straight to the bus driver and tell him he was sorry and he would not be misbehaving anymore ..Last week it was a citation from the teacher for not listening and refusing to do his school work... I went in and talked to the teacher and yep he didn't feel like doing it so she asked him if he thought his Mom would mind if he didn't do his school work and his reply was that "no, my Mom wouldn't care" LOL he now knows that I do indeed care and he better be good at school ....Funny he is so mellow.. I thought we would breeze through school and he would never get in trouble.. my older kids never got sent home with a note from any teacher or bus driver ever ...the citation form the bus says Boisterous I am guessing that word is made from the words Boy and rambunctious LOL yep that would be our little boys in the hood :-) ...

A shoe tier in tha family :-)

Rylan needed PE shoes for school since I was busy with my Dad Randy Wilhelm took him shopping all they could find were tie shoes ...so Randy taught Rylan how to tie his shoes when they got home......then Rylan showed it off to me when I came home...I have only bought him Velcro cause.. I have only worked very little on tying of shoes ...so glad he picked up on it so quick ...he will have a much better choices of shoes in the future with his new found knowledge :-)

My Long Lost Nikon...

its a good day I found my little Nikon camera that has been missing since May I know it was May because its got pictures of the parade on the memory card and I found Rylans cub-scout belt he was wearing it in the parade lol they were together ..I have missed my little pocket camera so much am so happy to have it again ...if your wondering where I found them well it would be on my dresser under a pile of bathingsuits that are too big for me lol I decieded today I needed to go through that pile and figure out what to do with them I guess they will go in my emergency fat clothes box

Figures its Saturday and I could sleep till noon if I wanted but nope I was up wide eyed at 6 am ....Oh well LOL I guess I am just keeping my schedule maybe I should go wake Rylan up so he keeps it too.....ummmm no I am just going to enjoy the quietness for a while longer plus he will probably want to take the computer and play minecraft or something :-) oh and his new favorite show is storage wars he is completely amazed at how fast the auctioneer can talk so fast asked me how he does it I said it takes lots and lots of practice :-) I love that his curiosity has such a wide range he is also loving outer space now and told me all the planets revolve around the sun :-) he has a book and told me some of the planets and where earth is and the biggest planet and the smallest of course I don't remember the names now, but he was right according to the pictures..

I like the idea of putting name cards on things I think I am going to start working on doing that around here...then maybe start working on those sight word into sentences on the objects in a few weeks so Rylan can start learning how they fit in ..Rylan had his first spelling test yesterday and thinks he did pretty well ....we worked on the words 4 letters that were a bit harder on his way to school... so hopefully he remembered them fresh when the spelling test started LOL and I have totally agree learning has to do with teaching style, last year he wasn't to thrilled about school I think because it was stuff he already knew, but this year he so far seems to enjoy going its still stuff he already knows but seems like its in a different format ..the little girl that sits right next to him has a hard time with Math and so far Rylan is great at math which I think comes from me being so sick when he was little I couldn't go out and do a lot so I tought him how to play cards and we played a lot of cards LOL so he has a good base of how numbers work at least in the simple forms and can add and subtract easily, so I told him its a good thing that he sits next to gabby cause he can help her with her math :-) so he also feels more needed at school and I think that boosts his self esteem...

Did you know that your not a early bird ? to make things easier on us in the mornings I get you dressed for school the night before you go to bed :-) so in the morning it just brush your teeth do your inhailer get your sock on I do the sock thing cause it helps you to wake up ..then your off to pee then shoes and out the door we go all in about 15 minutes ...Love Mom

craftroom clean up

well I have been.slowly working on getting the office/ craft room.organized its pretty pretty slow going it's because I'm sick with a cold so I don't get a whole lot done during the day but getting closer and closer and I hope by the end of next week to have it very organize a nice and I'm on to come over we can do crafts together

Rylans first day O'school 1st grade pics

Rylans first day of school was September 4th he was a bit cautious in the morning and then practically danced off the bus at the end of the day..
More homework to do this year but it looks like homework that he can pretty much do on his own lots of 3 letter words for spelling tests on friday and Math stuff and so far he is a wiz at math,Thank goodness because I am not a wiz hopefully it will all make since to him as he learns each concept ...
The renters that we have had for about the past 5 years have moved out and we were very lucky to get the townhouse rented out quickly now lets just hope they can stay a good long while its a nice home to raise a family in with a nice backyard for playing ...Randy and I have spent the past week shopping for paint and getting things repaired hopefully that is just about done then the renters can get to normal life again and we can too..
We bought a 1995 saturn car for $900.00 last week (had to borrow the money but have already paid that back) its a cute little car with a sunroof and gets about 30 miles to the gallon yeah I wont have to feel so guilty about quick trips to town that costs at least $10 just for the gas ...when Randys main carpool guy retires then this will be the carpool car and we will look for something else for me to putt about in ..no plans to sell the durango at the moment but you never know I may change my mind about that ..the thing is is that it runs really well and I feel safe out on the highway in it so for now it stays...

hospitials amd more hospitials, school and now i am sick

my dad had a bad reaction to a medication injection on his skin cancer bump on his head...
so after thinking he may die for a week and 4 pints of blood he is better....then a forest fire a few miles from the house...then my niece was in a bad car accident she is pretty severely hurt but should recover...Rylsn started 1st grade yay....I am now sick uky yucky and that's my update for now ..
