A busy life LOL

Oh boy I lost my password to my blogger again so hadn't posted for a long while ....Oh gosh so much I need to catch up on cute Rylanisums and party pictures our boy is now 7 years old and life in general ..I print these blogs out so when the kids have kids and grand kids they can know some family history of these years ..one thing Rylan just did the other day that was so cute ...he asked for some seeds to plant in his garden , I gave him some flower seeds and watermelon seeds he looks at me and say's "where are the dandelion seeds, I want to plant dandelions"  Ohhh this kid cracks me up :-) ....
                   My worms are doing great I actually have beautiful worm castings for our garden ..Love Love Love the worms best pets ever ...we also have chickens now 8 of them so Randy is looking forward to our own eggs ...right now we buy them from our neighbor ...

ughhh I have been sick for over a month

I have been sick since the first week of school ughh...not sick enough to go to the docs cause I think they would just say its allergies or something but I don't feel good...just getting over the yucky cough and now a sore throat, seems I have a weak constitution and I am not liking it one bit..today I am going to try and get my coupons clipped and go shopping but the chair and a nice warm blanket sounds so much better right now ...
         we have cub scouts meeting tonight Randy and Rylan might just have to go themselves I hate missing out on it but like I said I just don't feel good..I am hoping to get the call about getting the epidural in my lower back today I called and left a message yesterday about it I was supposed to call about a month ago but then my Dad got sick and I have been so busy with him I was to tired to even call and make the appointment ..
        Lets see Mindi now has my Grandmas car so she is mobile again maybe I will send her in to do the coupon shopping if I get everything together she has been cooped up here so I think she might enjoy the outing ...

Selling Popcorn and spending time with the Grands

Today Randy and Rylan sold boy scout popcorn at wal-mart..Andrew and I went to Goodwill and the new Joanns fabric store that opened about a month ago ..everytime we had planned to go to Joanns my dad ended up at the ER via us :-) ... Andrew aalso got his haircut at wal-mart it was a little short and he was concerned about how to wash hair that short I convinced him just do it like normal you can see how short it is in the picture of Myself, Rylan my Dad and Andrew above ... We then went to visit my dad for a while then off to Grandma Jessies to get our drinking water for the week ...it was a very pleasant day ..ohhh we also got to go to the dollar store one of out favorite places to shop I got a start on some Christmas stuff and Rylan got a knight in shining armor costume, the breast plate can be seen in the picture above of us with my Dad.. It was a nice day Love spending time with the family speaking of which we will be getting to see My Aunts on the 23 for a week and also will be seeing Nick Margo and the kids on the 18th ..I am so glad I found my little camera It had been lost for about 2 months over the summer and I found it on my dresser ... I bought Rylan a beautiful wollf blanket for Christmas at wal-mart for $16.97 I just know he is going to love it.. Tomarrow Mindi get to pick up my Grandma Gladys car yay she will be so happy to have a car again its been since the end of May since she has had one ..I will like being able to send her off to the store or into town to pick up a to~go dinner ... I have been feeling much better these days I hope it continues I need to make a appointment to get a epidural shot in my back and see if that works to get my back pain controlled better my shoulders have been doing pretty well so time will tell..

Cititation from school and the bus "YIKES"

Rylan got his first bus citation today :-/ just happened to be the first day I volunteered in his class so I got to hear the whole lecture to the whole bus of kids not all of them got citations but Rylan and the two neighbor boys that he plays with daily got one.. yikes ....As I was walking out to the car Rylan said that they have assigned seats and he sits right next to the neighbor boys... so we turned around and went right back into the school and I told them I wanted his seat assignment switched cause these kids are like brothers and I can totally see them getting in trouble LOL not bad stuff just horsing around stuff ...jeeze I am out to the yard telling them to settle down every 10 minutes when they are playing so someone don't get hurt ...I also made him go straight to the bus driver and tell him he was sorry and he would not be misbehaving anymore ..Last week it was a citation from the teacher for not listening and refusing to do his school work... I went in and talked to the teacher and yep he didn't feel like doing it so she asked him if he thought his Mom would mind if he didn't do his school work and his reply was that "no, my Mom wouldn't care" LOL he now knows that I do indeed care and he better be good at school ....Funny he is so mellow.. I thought we would breeze through school and he would never get in trouble.. my older kids never got sent home with a note from any teacher or bus driver ever ...the citation form the bus says Boisterous I am guessing that word is made from the words Boy and rambunctious LOL yep that would be our little boys in the hood :-) ...

Figures its Saturday and I could sleep till noon if I wanted but nope I was up wide eyed at 6 am ....Oh well LOL I guess I am just keeping my schedule maybe I should go wake Rylan up so he keeps it too.....ummmm no I am just going to enjoy the quietness for a while longer plus he will probably want to take the computer and play minecraft or something :-) oh and his new favorite show is storage wars he is completely amazed at how fast the auctioneer can talk so fast asked me how he does it I said it takes lots and lots of practice :-) I love that his curiosity has such a wide range he is also loving outer space now and told me all the planets revolve around the sun :-) he has a book and told me some of the planets and where earth is and the biggest planet and the smallest of course I don't remember the names now, but he was right according to the pictures..

I like the idea of putting name cards on things I think I am going to start working on doing that around here...then maybe start working on those sight word into sentences on the objects in a few weeks so Rylan can start learning how they fit in ..Rylan had his first spelling test yesterday and thinks he did pretty well ....we worked on the words 4 letters that were a bit harder on his way to school... so hopefully he remembered them fresh when the spelling test started LOL and I have totally agree learning has to do with teaching style, last year he wasn't to thrilled about school I think because it was stuff he already knew, but this year he so far seems to enjoy going its still stuff he already knows but seems like its in a different format ..the little girl that sits right next to him has a hard time with Math and so far Rylan is great at math which I think comes from me being so sick when he was little I couldn't go out and do a lot so I tought him how to play cards and we played a lot of cards LOL so he has a good base of how numbers work at least in the simple forms and can add and subtract easily, so I told him its a good thing that he sits next to gabby cause he can help her with her math :-) so he also feels more needed at school and I think that boosts his self esteem...

Rylans first day O'school 1st grade pics

Rylans first day of school was September 4th he was a bit cautious in the morning and then practically danced off the bus at the end of the day..
More homework to do this year but it looks like homework that he can pretty much do on his own lots of 3 letter words for spelling tests on friday and Math stuff and so far he is a wiz at math,Thank goodness because I am not a wiz hopefully it will all make since to him as he learns each concept ...
The renters that we have had for about the past 5 years have moved out and we were very lucky to get the townhouse rented out quickly now lets just hope they can stay a good long while its a nice home to raise a family in with a nice backyard for playing ...Randy and I have spent the past week shopping for paint and getting things repaired hopefully that is just about done then the renters can get to normal life again and we can too..
We bought a 1995 saturn car for $900.00 last week (had to borrow the money but have already paid that back) its a cute little car with a sunroof and gets about 30 miles to the gallon yeah I wont have to feel so guilty about quick trips to town that costs at least $10 just for the gas ...when Randys main carpool guy retires then this will be the carpool car and we will look for something else for me to putt about in ..no plans to sell the durango at the moment but you never know I may change my mind about that ..the thing is is that it runs really well and I feel safe out on the highway in it so for now it stays...

Schools a coming ;-)

My Goodness this has been a long exhausting week ...only 1 more week till the little Man starts 1st grade.. Wow my last little baby a 1st grader ..where does time go its been so awesome being a "older" mother I would suggested it to anybody who has ever wondered :-) lets see I will be 45 in October and Randy will be 57 in November, so I think we qualify as older parents LOL we still feel pretty young at heart !!!

Been posting words

Trying to get another 60 swag-bucks so I can get another $5 amazon card so I typed in "blogger" didn't get any swag-bucks Darn :-( but figured since I was here I would make a post :-)
We are going on our first camping trip tomorrow and wouldn't you know it the batteries are not working ughh the fun of having a motor-home you never use because the price of gas is so high..Well that and our favorite campground close to home has been full the whole summer. Last year was not like that we could always get a space with only a week or two notice looks like we are going to have to reserve 6 months in advance if we want to camp a lot next year ..we are so excited our neighbors that moved right at the beginning of summer are camping to their kids John and Sarah are Rylans best friends
