Rylan video on the sly at the races

Please watch and comment there he loves seeing his views go up and would be over the moon to have comment besides mine ...he loves to watch you tube videos and so he is making this one for the people he watches he thinks they can see it and well I guess if they knew it was there maybe they would ..its just so cute his little voice and then at the end when he was going to take a picture of Randy and I ohhh it just cracks me up ...he tells people to come see us by the little store...so fun, this kid is so Damn FUN !!!!

A busy life LOL

Oh boy I lost my password to my blogger again so hadn't posted for a long while ....Oh gosh so much I need to catch up on cute Rylanisums and party pictures our boy is now 7 years old and life in general ..I print these blogs out so when the kids have kids and grand kids they can know some family history of these years ..one thing Rylan just did the other day that was so cute ...he asked for some seeds to plant in his garden , I gave him some flower seeds and watermelon seeds he looks at me and say's "where are the dandelion seeds, I want to plant dandelions"  Ohhh this kid cracks me up :-) ....
                   My worms are doing great I actually have beautiful worm castings for our garden ..Love Love Love the worms best pets ever ...we also have chickens now 8 of them so Randy is looking forward to our own eggs ...right now we buy them from our neighbor ...

I know I have not been posting much oh well I am posting now so that's good right ....
 Ok so I have decieded to experiment this summer with my worm castings that I have been working on for a couple of years I am doing tomatoes left over seeds from last year . One batch in a very popular seed starting mix with the inatials MG and my own compost that my favorite little pets ever have made me with their poop :-) here are some pictures so you may follow along in my experiment ..I must say I have no green thumb to speak of and last summer the deer got my tomatoe plants this year I have made what I hope is a deer proof place to garden ...Lets go look at the photos ...

 I had to mix some plain potting soil to my worm casting I really dont know if I HAD to add it but its a half and half mixture ...I got a awful taste in my mouth soon as I opened the MG brand potting mix and I still can taste it in my mouth yuck I hope the taste is gone by morning ...I will admit my worm compost did smell a bit moldy back when I first started and didnt know quite how moist the stuff need to be ..Now no smell at all just plain ol dirt smell

 This is what a worm bin looks like when you get it started and then when its pretty much done I could have sifted through it more I guess but I just do it by hand and pick out the big stuff and the worms to go back in the green bin

things are going well on the homeschool.front...we like the time4forlearning online school i also have added some books i picked up at walmart so Rylan can have a few diffrent choices of a schoolday ..
      i had a steroid shot in my shoulder thursday and boy o boy its feeling so much better i am so tired of constant pain so i just said what the heck.i am going to give it a try ....so today i have spent the day sewing a guillie suit for Rylan.then planting some bulbs that i should of planted in the fall , i hope they grow ...last week i picked up some spring planting bulbs that will bloom.in the summer my plan is to.plant them tomarrow if its not raining ...i like planting bulbs so.easy and little work for beautiful flowers ....oh i also spread some grass seed parts of the lawn are looking bare from kids playing ...i am.hopeful its lush nice grass and not like the grass we have now that i cant stand....i started a new worm bin and am hoping to sell some of my compost tea this spring still trying to think of a good name i have a few ideas so thats going good ....well thats about it hope you all are having good times and are as excited that spring is almost here...i love spring its my time of year ...

out of school I need to have it done within 10 days of him quiting or the truancy officer will be out YIKES that dont look good for first grade and I could get a fine ..They are mailing me the paperwork then I will drive it back to their office the place is about 30 miles away so that why I am having it mailed ..
            I called Rylan school to let them know and Ms Julie was so sad that Rylan wont be there but did understand why I was doing it ..I CANT GET THE KID TO GO I have driven him there more than once and he wont get out of the dang car and I refuse to leave my kid anywhere with tears in his eyes, no way, no how, not ever ...I have my reasons but for now I will just say that I believe a parent should always pay attention to how their child feels about things and should have open eyes and open ears to their feelings ..I will post more about that later, but something came up last month that was concerning my brother Billy from when he was a teen, its a long story and I want to make sure its ok with my mom before I post about it..
            So anyways I hope to get back to blogging regularly I know I keep saying that but one of these days it will actually happen I love having the printed books from my blogs and I love that Rylan will know all these little things and his kids will too...I am hopeful to start working on the family tree again soon I want to sign up for the acestery.com website but have wanted to get all our bills caught up and slowly but surly its happening after that maybe I will get the house organized LOL ...I painted my kitchen back in november and it looks so pretty its lavendar and yellow and I plan on accenting it with sunflowers yeah took me long enough to figure something to do with those while walls LOL 13 years :-)

Going to be trying some homeschooling

Since Rylans school may be closing down at the end of the year we are looking into diffrent school options one of them is this site here so fare he is having a great time with the Demos I get a free month trial if I post it here then give my honest opinion when the month is over ...

sickness abounds here

Rylan sick all last week with sore throat....then i woke with a cold Saturday and now Sunday Rylan has a cold like me ughh....i so hate being sick.....we did manage to go to the movies yesterday and seen rise of guardians cute movie we went with mindi allyssa Rylan Andrew randy and me ....afterwards Andrew and i went to walmart so he could get a ps 3 game ...i stocked up on orange juice walmart brand is my favorite also clam chowder and their frozen pancakes and sausage patties....now back to.laying around and waiting to get well....also took Rylan in for a strep throat test Friday of course he said he throat wasn't hurting anymore but it was still really red the doc even said it looked painful. blah
